Sometimes classmates have very stupid criticisms because they are stupid. My story had US Coast Guard operating in the Bay of Bengal as a third part escorting US and other neutral civilian ships.
Classmate thought that Coast Guard could not operate in Bay of Bengal. Same classmate asked why Japan Coast Guard would be escorting ships through Bay of Bengal. I don't know for a fact that this is very stupid, but classmate had no problem with the Canadians, Australians, or anyone else, so I don't know why she worried about them. Possibly the no-war bit, but still I think she is stupid.
Also, you tell the difference between a leopard and a cheetah this way: cheetah would not be caught dead in a leotard, yet all leopards love their leotards.
Civilian ships in the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean at large were getting attacked, so the US and a number of other powers enacted a "Bay of Bengal Neutrality Patrol" to escort neutral ships, because the Bay of Bengal was one of the major areas of ship sinkings/seizures.
One of my classmates took issue both with the fact that I had the Coast Guard as the US contribution and that I had the Japanese involved. Didn't think it was realistic.
Well, it's a little-known fact that all the Cubans left Cuba and are now living in Miami and New York. So, really, they're just making sure that the Castro family and the detainees at Gitmo don't get over here. We need to leave somebody there, after all.
